The Denver Botanic Gardens boasts over 32,000 plants, including exotic plant species from the Himalayas, Africa and Australia. The main facility sits on 23 acres of land on York Street, while other sites include a 750 acre wildlife and plant refuge in Littleton and a five acre formal garden in downtown Denver called Centennial Gardens.
