State Parks
State parks are those special kinds of parks, which are preserved by the state government for natural beauty, recreation or historic reason. There is lot of difference between a state park and national park. Many people get confused about the states parks. Strict vigilance is kept by the supreme authorities like the state government in these parks. More number of state parks is seen worldwide but the name varies from one park to another. In countries like Canada, the state park is termed as Provincial Park. Few exceptional situations are found in some countries when the national government interferes in the role of keeping those parks under them.

Craig Lake State Park and Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Parks are the two most important state parks which provide the amazing variations. Many of the national parks have been undertaken by the state government and those have been revived.
